Description

This STIHL MS360 carburetor is a complete aftermarket replacement for selected later-model STIHL chainsaws. It replaces OEM part number 1125 120 0651 and features the compensator or snorkel connection on the carburetor cover.

A worn or damaged carburetor can cause difficult starting, irregular idling, hesitation, poor acceleration or fuel leakage. Therefore, replacing the complete assembly can restore reliable fuel delivery and consistent engine performance.

Important compatibility information:

STIHL used different carburetor designs across the 034, 036, MS340 and MS360 ranges. This 0651 version has a compensator/snorkel connection on the carburetor cover. Earlier carburetors without this connection use different part numbers and may not fit.

Before ordering, compare the OEM number, carburetor cover, fuel inlet, mounting holes and control linkages with your original part. Do not rely on the chainsaw model alone.

After installation, check the fuel lines, fuel filter, intake boot and impulse connection. Then adjust the carburetor according to the manufacturer’s procedure. An excessively lean fuel setting can cause serious engine damage.
