Description

This Stihl FS85 starter is a complete Winzor aftermarket recoil assembly for compatible Stihl brushcutters, trimmers and other 75/85-series machines. It replaces OEM reference 4137 190 4000 and restores the manual starting mechanism when the original housing, pulley, spring or rope has failed.

Complete Recoil Starter Assembly

The supplied unit contains the starter housing, pulley, recoil spring, starter rope and pull handle. Therefore, it replaces the complete pull-start mechanism as one assembled part. The pulley engages the engine during the pull stroke, while the spring retracts the rope afterwards.

This new Winzor aftermarket starter provides a practical repair for a cracked housing, damaged pulley, broken recoil spring or worn starter rope. In addition, the assembled design removes the need to rebuild each component separately.
