Replacing the cylinder without correcting an air leak or lean fuel mixture can cause repeated engine damage.
Coat the piston, rings, pin bearing and cylinder wall with clean two-stroke oil during assembly. Install the piston in the correct direction and confirm that the rings remain aligned with their locating pins.
