Description
This STIHL MS250 fuel hose is an aftermarket replacement fuel line for the STIHL 1123 chainsaw family, including the 021, 023, 025, MS210, MS230 and MS250. It replaces the 1123 358 7701, 1123 358 7702 and 1123 358 7703 fuel-hose references used across different production periods.
The moulded hose carries fuel from the tank pickup to the carburetor and is shaped for the routing used in this chainsaw chassis.
Confirmed STIHL Fitment

STIHL Fuel Hose References
Relevant original numbers:
- 1123 358 7701
- 11233587701
- 1123 358 7702
- 11233587702
- 1123 358 7703
- 11233587703
Older 021, 023 and 025 parts information shows 1123 358 7701.
Later versions use 1123 358 7702, while current replacement information for the MS210 / MS230 / MS250 family uses 1123 358 7703.
The different numbers therefore appear on machines and parts documentation from different production periods within the same 1123 chainsaw family.
Fuel System Identification
This part is the fuel hose between the tank pickup and carburetor.
It is not the separate impulse hose and it is not the oil-system hose.
Before ordering, compare:
- Hose shape
- Tank-entry position
- Carburetor connection
- Fuel-filter end
- Original 1123-series reference
The fuel pickup/filter is a separate component from the hose.
Different STIHL Chainsaw Families
Do not confuse this hose with the fuel line used on STIHL 017, 018, MS170 and MS180 chainsaws. Those machines belong to the 1130 family and use a different fuel-hose configuration.
Likewise, later MS251-series machines should be identified from their own parts diagram rather than grouped with the MS250 solely because of the similar model number.
Replacement
Drain the fuel tank before removing the old hose.
Inspect the hose where it passes through the tank opening and where it attaches to the carburetor. Cracking, hardening or loss of elasticity can allow fuel leakage or air to enter the fuel supply.
When fitting the replacement, route the hose in the same position as the original. Make sure it is not twisted, stretched or trapped by the carburetor housing.
Reconnect the fuel pickup and carburetor securely. Add fresh fuel and inspect the complete connection for leakage before starting the chainsaw.
