Description

This Stihl MS361 muffler kit replaces a damaged, corroded or leaking exhaust assembly on compatible Stihl chainsaws. It fits Stihl MS341, MS361 and MS361C models and replaces muffler reference 1135 140 0650 / 11351400650.

The muffler directs exhaust gases away from the engine while reducing exhaust noise. A secure, properly sealed installation also prevents hot gases from escaping around the cylinder exhaust port.

This is a new Winzor aftermarket replacement kit, not a genuine Stihl part.

Before installation, allow the engine and existing muffler to cool completely. Remove all remains of the old gasket and clean the cylinder exhaust-port surface without damaging it.

Next, position the cooling plate and new gasket correctly. Fit the muffler and tighten both mounting bolts evenly. Uneven tightening damages the gasket and creates an exhaust leak.

After installation, start the chainsaw and inspect the joint for escaping exhaust gases. Stop the engine immediately if the muffler remains loose or if leakage appears around the mounting surface. Check the bolt tightness again after the engine has cooled.
