Why engine sealing matters

A two-stroke engine uses pressure and vacuum pulses inside the crankcase to move the fuel mixture. Therefore, worn crankshaft seals can allow unwanted air into the engine. Air leaks can contribute to difficult starting, unstable idle, poor acceleration, lean running and excessive engine temperature.
