This Husqvarna 143R crankshaft is an aftermarket replacement for OEM crankshaft 531007759, also written as 531 00 77-59.

It fits the Husqvarna 142R, 142RB, 143R, 152RB, 152RJ and 153R brushcutter family, as well as Jonsered BP2052 and GC2042 machines using the same engine platform. Husqvarna parts drawings identify 531 00 77-59 as the crankshaft, and the Jonsered BP2052 and GC2042 parts drawings use the identical reference.

This crankshaft does not fit the Husqvarna 143R-II.

Despite the nearly identical model name, the Husqvarna 143R-II uses crankshaft 585153001, not 531007759.

• Husqvarna 143R-II → 585153001 – does not fit

That Roman numeral is doing rather more mechanical work than one would reasonably expect from two characters.

Installation Checks

Replacing the crankshaft requires complete engine disassembly. Inspect both crankshaft bearings, crankshaft seals, connecting-rod small end, needle bearing and crankcase before installing the new shaft.

Do not drive the crankshaft into the bearings with a hammer. Use the appropriate installation or pulling tools so the shaft and bearings are loaded correctly.

After assembly, rotate the crankshaft by hand before fitting the cylinder. It should turn smoothly without binding, noticeable radial play or contact with the crankcase.
