• 2318765AR
• 2318765
• Walbro WT-869
• WT-869A / WT-869B configuration

Oleo-Mac parts information identifies the unit as WT-869A, while later genuine Emak replacement data also uses the WT-869B designation for 2318765AR. The 2318765AR OEM number is therefore the most reliable identification point.

Important Sparta 44 Version Check

This carburetor fits Oleo-Mac Sparta 44 FE, but it should not be sold as a universal carburetor for every Sparta 44.

The regular Sparta 44 parts list uses 2318735CR / WT-870B, while Sparta 44 FE uses 2318765AR / WT-869. Therefore, on a machine marked simply Sparta 44, check the original carburetor before ordering. If the removed carburetor is the 2318735CR / WT-870 type, this is not the correct version.

That distinction is important because the two versions look similar enough to create exactly the sort of return nobody enjoys packing twice.

Installation Checks

Before installing the carburetor, inspect the intake manifold, gaskets, fuel hoses, fuel filter and tank breather. An air leak or restricted fuel supply can produce the same symptoms as a faulty carburetor.

After installation, check throttle movement and make sure the choke operates correctly. The engine should then be adjusted according to the manufacturer’s carburetor-setting procedure before being used under full load.
