Description
This 48 mm cylinder and piston kit is an aftermarket top-end replacement for Husqvarna 365 and compatible Jonsered 2065 / 2165 chainsaws using the earlier, non-X-Torq engine configuration.
It replaces Husqvarna OEM reference 503939071 (503 93 90-71), used on the 48 mm cylinder configuration.

The graphite-coated piston provides a suitable running surface during initial operation, while the plated cylinder bore offers a durable working surface.
Important Compatibility Information
The standard Husqvarna 362XP uses a 47 mm cylinder, while the 371XP and 372XP use 50 mm cylinders. This 48 mm kit is not a direct factory-specification replacement for those models.
The kit is also not compatible with X-Torq cylinder arrangements.
Before ordering, compare the original cylinder’s intake shape, mounting points, transfer-port layout and decompression arrangement.
Installation Recommendations
Before fitting the replacement cylinder, inspect the crankshaft bearings, connecting rod and crankcase sealing surfaces. Remove old gasket material and any debris from the previous cylinder.
Lubricate the piston, ring and cylinder bore with suitable two-stroke oil. Install the piston retaining clips securely and apply the appropriate cylinder-base sealing procedure.
After assembly, check crankcase sealing and adjust the carburetor for the rebuilt engine.
