Description
This STIHL FS250 cylinder kit provides a 40mm aftermarket cylinder and matched piston components for compatible two-stroke STIHL brushcutters, clearing saws and pole pruners. It replaces a scored cylinder, damaged piston or worn engine top end and corresponds to OEM cylinder-with-piston reference 4134 020 1219.
The product is a Winzor aftermarket replacement and is not a genuine STIHL part.
STIHL FS250 cylinder kit compatibility
The 40mm assembly fits the following machines when they use OEM reference 4134 020 1219:
- STIHL FS120 and FS120R
- STIHL FS200 and FS200R
- STIHL FS250 and FS250R
- STIHL FS300
- STIHL FS350
- STIHL FS380
- STIHL FT250
- STIHL HT250
STIHL produced some of these models with different cylinder versions. Therefore, check the 40mm bore, OEM reference, cylinder shape, mounting holes, intake connection and exhaust port before ordering. The machine model alone does not confirm compatibility.

- Red silicone engine sealant
These parts provide the principal components needed to replace the cylinder and piston group. The supplied gaskets also allow the engine to be assembled without reusing previously compressed sealing parts.
Checks before installation
Before fitting the assembly, inspect the crankshaft, connecting rod, piston-pin needle bearing, crankshaft bearings and oil seals. In addition, clean the intake and exhaust passages and confirm that the carburettor delivers the correct fuel mixture.
A lean mixture, blocked air filter, leaking crankshaft seal or restricted cooling airflow can damage a replacement cylinder. For this reason, pressure- and vacuum-test the crankcase whenever the cause of the original failure remains unknown.
Lubricate the cylinder and piston before assembly. Then check the piston orientation, ring positions and circlip seating carefully. Apply the supplied sealant sparingly to the specified sealing surfaces.
