Description
This BC415 crankshaft kit is a Winzor aftermarket crankshaft package for compatible Chinese-manufactured brushcutters with a 40mm cylinder bore. It supplies the main crankcase components required to replace a worn crankshaft, damaged bearings or leaking shaft seals.

The package contains:
- Crankshaft assembly
- Main crankshaft bearings
- Crankshaft oil seals

- Woodruff key
- Small-end needle bearing
- Engine sealant
Generic brushcutter model markings are not fully standardised. Consequently, the model name alone does not guarantee the correct crankshaft. Compare the crankshaft length, shaft tapers, threaded ends, crankcase shape and bearing dimensions with the original components.
Fitting the crankshaft assembly
Before installation, inspect both crankcase halves for damage and remove all remains of the old gasket and sealant. Then press the bearings squarely into their seats without applying impact force through the bearing races.
Use the supplied gasket and sealant to close the crankcase. However, keep sealant away from bearings and internal passages. After assembly, make sure the crankshaft rotates smoothly without tight spots. Also check the piston, cylinder and connecting-rod alignment before starting the engine.
