Description
This 38 mm cylinder and piston kit for ECHO CS-352 is an aftermarket top-end replacement assembly for compatible ECHO CS-352 and CS-352AC petrol chainsaws.
The cylinder is integrated into the upper crankcase casting, following the original ECHO engine design. The corresponding manufacturer references are P021-035190 for the crankcase kit and P021-035201 for the piston kit.
This replacement supplies the cylinder section and piston components required for rebuilding a compatible engine.

When to Replace the Cylinder
A worn or damaged cylinder can cause:
- Reduced engine compression
- Difficult starting
- Loss of cutting power
- Piston scoring
- Excessive friction or engine seizure
- Poor engine performance after overheating
Before replacing the cylinder, identify and correct the cause of any previous engine damage.
Installation Recommendations
Inspect the crankshaft, connecting rod, bearings, crankcase mating surfaces and oil seals before assembly.
Clean the crankcase mating surfaces thoroughly and use an appropriate two-stroke crankcase sealant.
Lubricate the piston, ring and cylinder bore with suitable two-stroke oil before installation.
Install the piston ring and retaining clips correctly, then tighten the crankcase fasteners using the appropriate service procedure.
After assembly, perform a crankcase pressure and vacuum test and check the carburetor settings.
This is an aftermarket cylinder and piston assembly, not a genuine ECHO OEM product.
