Description
This Echo SRM-2305 carburetor provides a complete aftermarket replacement for selected Echo brushcutters and grass trimmers using a Zama C1U-K53-series carburetor. It replaces OEM part number 12520052436 and several earlier Echo carburetor references.
The Echo SRM-2305 uses a 21.2cc two-stroke petrol engine. Its diaphragm carburetor controls the fuel-and-air mixture, while the purge bulb draws fresh fuel into the carburetor before starting.
A worn carburetor can cause difficult starting, unstable idling, hesitation, poor acceleration, fuel leakage or loss of power. Therefore, replacing the complete assembly can restore reliable fuel delivery and smoother engine performance.
Compatible Echo models include:
- Echo SRM-2015 and SRM-2015SI
- Echo SRM-2305 and SRM-2305SI
- Echo SRM-2455 and SRM-2455SI
- Selected Echo GT-2150 and GT-2150S
- Selected Echo SRM-250
- Echo AT-203A and AT-203G
- Echo SHR-210Z

Before ordering, compare the OEM number, carburetor body, purge-bulb position, fuel connections and throttle linkage with your original part. Echo used different carburetors across similarly named SRM models, so the model name alone may not confirm compatibility.
After installation, inspect the air filter, fuel filter, fuel pipes, intake gasket and spark arrestor. Then adjust the idle and fuel mixture according to the manufacturer’s procedure. An excessively lean setting can overheat and damage the engine.
Gaskets, fuel pipes and mounting hardware are not included unless they appear in the product photographs.
