This STIHL MS660 carburetor is a complete aftermarket replacement for selected STIHL professional chainsaws using a compatible Walbro WJ-series carburetor. It replaces OEM 1122 120 0621 and 1122 120 0623 configurations.

The carburetor regulates the fuel-and-air mixture supplied to the engine. As a result, a correctly installed and adjusted carburetor helps the chainsaw start reliably, maintain a stable idle and deliver consistent power under load.

A worn or contaminated carburetor can cause difficult starting, irregular idling, hesitation, poor acceleration, fuel leakage or loss of power. Therefore, replacing the complete assembly can provide a practical repair when cleaning or fitting new diaphragms no longer solves the problem.

Important compatibility information:

STIHL fitted several WJ-series carburetors across the 066, MS650 and MS660 production range. Some machines may use a WJ-69 carburetor with OEM reference 1122 120 0618. Therefore, the chainsaw model alone may not confirm compatibility.

Before ordering, compare the OEM number, carburetor body, fuel inlet, mounting points and throttle linkage with your original part. Also check any identification stamped into the original carburetor.

After installation, inspect the fuel filter, fuel hose, impulse connection, intake boot and air filter. Then adjust the carburetor according to the manufacturer’s procedure. An excessively lean setting can overheat and damage the engine.

This carburetor does not fit the STIHL MS661. Gaskets, mounting hardware and additional fittings are not included unless they appear in the product photographs.
